President of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received a congratulatory message from African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In his message, the Chairperson extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Sovereignty Council, wishing the Sudanese people continued development, growth, and prosperity under his wise leadership. He also expressed hope that peace, security, and stability would prevail in Sudan.
The Chairperson reaffirmed the African Union’s commitment to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and mutual cooperation with Sudan, for the benefit of both the Arab and Islamic nations.
