
Member of the Sovereignty Council, Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Taher, congratulated Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on gaining the leadership’s trust and being appointed as Prime Minister.
This came during her meeting with Dr. Kamal Idris at her office.
The meeting addressed a number of pressing national issues in light of the current situation in the country and the preparations for the post-war phase.
It also discussed proposed visions for an urgent response to address humanitarian and economic challenges, as well as strategic steps to build a secure and stable Sudan—particularly through national consensus, the rule of law, and restoring the state’s authority.
For his part, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the member of the Sovereignty Council, affirming all the national issues discussed during the meeting. He described the meeting as fruitful and constructive, reflecting a shared understanding and a strong political will to move forward toward achieving the aspirations of the Sudanese people for peace, stability, and development.
He expressed hope that peace and security would prevail across all parts of the country, noting that the meeting also addressed current national issues and regional challenges.
