Allocating Spaces for Major Suppliers at the Southern Port

The Director of the Southern Port, Abdullah Hussein, announced the allocation of designated areas for major suppliers and the provision of facilitative benefits to help them complete their transactions without delay, noting that the port is fully prepared with its personnel and equipment.

During a meeting held in his office with the Director of the Standards and Metrology Authority at the Southern Port, Mohamed Ahmed Mahjoub — as part of joint coordination to streamline operational procedures within the port yard — he emphasized the simplification of processes through a single-window system inside the port yard.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to prepare for future meetings involving the port’s partners from regulatory and operational bodies in order to enhance coordination and increase productivity.
