Warehouse Containing Expired Goods Seized in Red Sea State

The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Corporation (Red Sea Sector) seized a warehouse in Port Sudan containing expired materials.

The sector’s director, Engineer Al-Waleed Mohamed Othman, revealed that during daily inspection campaigns, industrial and service inspection teams discovered large quantities of snacks, olives, and some juices damaged due to poor storage.

Meanwhile, Dr. Baha Al-Din Kamal, Director of the Industrial and Service Inspection Department, announced the seizure of 1,627 buckets of olives pending sorting and lab analysis, along with 22 boxes of expired snacks.
