Local sources and eyewitnesses from Nyala, South Darfur State, reported on Monday that a drone struck supply facilities belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the city.
Eyewitnesses from the Al-Matar neighborhood told Darfur24 that they heard a loud explosion in the early hours of Sunday morning, followed by plumes of smoke rising from the direction of the industrial area northeast of the neighborhood.
Three corroborating sources told Darfur24 that the drone targeted an RSF military supply site located in the yard of a warehouse west of Qadira fuel station and north of the Sayga flour factory, as well as the vicinity of Nyala International Airport east of the city.
They added that “the strike resulted in injuries among RSF personnel stationed at the site.”
The sources mentioned that the yard serves as a logistical hub for supplying RSF fighters across various battlefronts and is also used for assembling and dispatching fighters.
