Director General of Investment and Industry in Northern State Inspects Several Factories in Dongola
The Director General of the Ministry of Investment and Industry in the Northern State, Engineer Omar Ali Saleh, accompanied by the Director of the General Administration of Industry at the Ministry, Mr. Hassan Mokhtar, inspected several factories in the “Andalus” industrial zone in the city of Dongola today.
The visits included United Tuk-Tuks and Motorcycles Factory, Palm Food Biscuit Factory, Kaolin Air Conditioner Factory, KML Iron Shaping Factory, Madinaty Water and Juices Factory, Imani Concrete Block Factory, Electric Poles Manufacturing Factory, and Al-Firdous Grain Mills.
In a statement to (SUNA), the Director General of the Ministry affirmed that the purpose of the visit was to monitor the workflow in the factories and identify the challenges and obstacles facing investors.
He pointed out the state government’s interest in developing the industrial sector, improving the investment climate, and working to overcome the difficulties facing factories.
He added that the industrial sector is considered one of the fundamental pillars for developing the local economy and providing job opportunities.
Factory owners welcomed the visit, praising the Ministry of Investment and Industry’s commitment to supporting and advancing the industrial sector in the Northern State.
