Water Authority Announces Bayt Al-Mal Water Station Now Operational

The Khartoum State Water Authority officially announced that the Bayt Al-Mal water station is now in service following the completion of all technical and engineering arrangements.
In a press statement on Thursday, the authority’s General Manager, Engineer Consultant Mohamed Ali Al-Ajab, said that the new station will supply water to the Old Omdurman area and parts of Al-Arda.
He added that in the coming days, the Shajara and Al-Jarif water stations will also become operational. The authority is making tremendous efforts to restore other water stations so that displaced citizens can return to their homes. He praised the great efforts made by the water resources management team—including workers, technicians, and engineers—which contributed to this major step toward stabilizing water supply in the affected areas.
