Adawi Discusses Reconstruction with Atomic Energy and Agricultural Development Organizations

Sudan’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, First Lieutenant General Engineer Imad Al-Din Mustafa Adawi, met on Friday with Dr. Salem Al-Hamdi, Director General of the Arab Atomic Energy Agency, and Professor Ibrahim Al-Dukhairi, Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Sudan and the two organizations across various fields, particularly in the reconstruction phase.
Ambassador Adawi emphasized the important role of Arab joint-action institutions in supporting Sudan during this critical period. He commended the Arab League and its specialized organizations for their openness to broad sectoral cooperation.
He also expressed Sudan’s eagerness for deeper engagement from Arab specialized organizations in reconstruction efforts and praised the significant roles played by the Agricultural Development and Atomic Energy organizations in advancing joint Arab efforts, particularly in peaceful energy and agricultural development.
For their part, the two directors reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation with Sudan. They confirmed that the coming period would witness broader engagement in supporting reconstruction efforts through targeted contributions in their respective fields, helping drive comprehensive development in Sudan and the wider Arab region.
