Customs Director Reviews Operations in Khartoum

The Director General of the Customs Forces, Lieutenant General of Police Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, paid an inspection visit to the Customs Forces Headquarters in central Khartoum. During the visit, he reviewed the work environment and the readiness of customs units, as part of his field follow-up on performance and operational arrangements.
The visit included a tour of the headquarters’ facilities and buildings, followed by a briefing session with customs leadership in the state. The session addressed several key topics related to ongoing operations and the requirements of the upcoming phase.
Major General Hisham Mohamed Al-Hassan, Director of the General Administration of Administrative and Financial Affairs in the Anti-Smuggling Department, explained the ongoing arrangements for relocating the Anti-Smuggling Headquarters to Khartoum State. He highlighted efforts to ensure operational stability and continuity during the transition.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Abdelrahman Zain Al-Abidin, Director of the General Administration for Guidance and Services, gave a briefing on the status of medical services. He noted the ongoing development at the Brigadier Abdoon Sayed Ahmed Medical Complex, alongside improvements in social services for customs personnel.
For his part, Brigadier General Nasser Mahmoud Mohamed, Director of the Customs Intelligence Division, affirmed the readiness of customs stations and facilities in the state. He confirmed the completion of both technical and human preparations to meet the challenges of the next stage.
During his tour, the Director General inspected operations at the Brigadier Abdoon Sayed Ahmed Medical Complex and reviewed the equipment and level of healthcare services provided.
Lieutenant General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim expressed his appreciation for the efforts of customs leadership and staff, praising their discipline and teamwork. He called for enhanced institutional performance and increased efforts to meet the demands of the current phase.
