Tough Measures Against 33 Mining Companies

The Ministry of Minerals announced strict action against 33 companies, refusing to renew their contracts for processing mining residues.
The ministry said the decision was based on violations of the terms and conditions stipulated in their mining licenses and contracts, as well as their failure to pay state dues.
It emphasized that the move is part of ongoing efforts to regulate the mining sector, ensure companies comply with laws and regulations, and safeguard the rights of both the state and local communities.
The ministry directed all mining companies to fully adhere to contractual terms and meet their financial and legal obligations, warning that legal measures would be taken against any party that violates the law or infringes on state rights.
