The Security and Defense Council held a Saturday meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, attended by all its members.
The council saluted the steadfastness of the Sudanese people and those fighting in the existential “War of Dignity.”
It reviewed the country’s security and political situation, as well as actions taken by the Al-Dagalo militia and the “Tasis” group in forming a fictitious “paper government” in Darfur. It also discussed measures taken by the Abu Dhabi government and the precautions required from Sudan’s side.
The meeting affirmed the Sudanese state’s capability to safeguard the nation’s resources and protect its vital interests and expressed satisfaction with the military situation across various battlefronts.
