Labour Organizations Registrar, Senior Counsel Amina al-Sadiq Kabr, affirmed the illegitimacy of any unions or bodies formed outside the legal framework. She stated that all legitimate trade unions had been converted into preparatory committees under a registrar’s decision issued on May 29, 2025.
