Darfur regional governor Minni Arko Minnawi accused the RSF militia of continuing to commit atrocities, including genocide and ethnic cleansing, against specific communities in the region.
“Despite the clear evidence of these crimes, some still extend support to them under flimsy pretexts in the name of founding a new order—what foundation is built on blood and massacres?” Minnawi wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
He added: “The world has limited itself to watching images of the victims and hearing the cries of the besieged in El-Fasher without taking action to stop the ongoing crimes. We have repeatedly called for an end to these massacres, but in vain. If God grants us victory, we will break the siege and reach our brothers in El-Fasher. At that point, you will have no choice but to flee into exile and dispersal, just as you came the first time.”
