Sudan’s Central Bank Denies Freezing Tarco Accounts

The Central Bank of Sudan has denied the authenticity of a document circulating on social media alleging that the bank had frozen the accounts of Tarco Aviation.

In a press release, the Central Bank confirmed the document was fabricated and baseless, stressing that all official decisions and procedures are exclusively announced through its authorized channels, including the official website, media statements, and official communications with banks.

The Bank warned against circulating such forged documents, emphasizing its legal right to pursue individuals or entities involved in fabricating or disseminating them.
