Study Launched to Assess the Industrial Sector in Khartoum

A study to evaluate the current state of Khartoum State’s industrial sector was launched on Tuesday at the Ministry of Industry and Trade headquarters, with the participation of Director-General Amin Hassan Abdel-Banat, Dr. Imad Al-Din Khatmi representing the Federal Ministry of Industry, alongside a number of experts and specialists.
The ten-day assessment, jointly organized by the federal and state ministries of industry and trade, includes field visits to various industrial zones to measure the damage inflicted by rebel militias on infrastructure—particularly electricity, water, and facilities—while also estimating the costs of reconstruction and accelerating the resumption of industrial operations in Khartoum.
