The Sudan Doctors Network reported on Wednesday that seven civilians, including two children, were killed and 13 others injured in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces on the village of Al-Ghabshan Al-Maramra in North Kordofan State.
The network stated that the militia carried out a brutal assault on the village on Tuesday, resulting in the casualties. The attackers looted residents’ belongings, burned several homes, and destroyed the village’s only health center, stealing medical supplies.
The network condemned the incident as part of a series of systematic killings carried out by the Rapid Support Forces against civilians in areas under their control. It called on the international community, the UN, and the Security Council to exert greater pressure on the militia leadership to stop violations against unarmed civilians.
