Geological Research Authority Calls for Accelerating Productive Projects

Director General of the Geological Research Authority, Consultant Geologist Ahmed Haroun Al-Tom, has instructed state offices to accelerate the transition of completed studies into productive projects before the end of this year, stressing the need to move from research to implementation to boost the national economy.
This came during the Authority’s monthly meeting of state office directors, held Sunday via video conference with participation from Red Sea, Northern, River Nile, Gedaref, Blue Nile, and Kassala states.
The meeting reviewed the status of investment projects, asset reports, and the Authority’s new organizational structure.
The Director General emphasized the importance of finalizing pending projects, including the chromium project in Blue Nile, marble in Northern and Kassala, and gypsum in the Red Sea. He also praised the financial performance of the Kassala and Gedaref offices, announcing a planned inspection mission to the states in September.
