Ugandan officials confirmed that the country will not serve as a refuge for Sudanese rebels and will coordinate with the Sudanese government.
Sudan’s Justice Minister Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Darf met his Ugandan counterpart Norbert Mao during the 62nd session of the Afro-Asian Legal Advisory Organization in Kampala. Darf expressed gratitude for Uganda’s hospitality and praised President Yoweri Museveni’s role in promoting peace and stability in Sudan.
Darf highlighted violations of international law committed by the RSF militia and its supporters and stressed the importance of Uganda’s support in ending the rebellion threatening regional security.
