Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Sends Mission to Red Sea Gold Markets

The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company dispatched a high-level technical and administrative delegation, led by Development Director Abdullah Gharib, to inspect gold mining markets in Red Sea State, covering Haya, Durdeib, and Al-Qanab and Aulib localities.

The mission assessed mining operations, addressed challenges, and proposed immediate solutions, which have already resulted in increased revenues in the state.

Upon returning, the delegation held an extensive meeting with the Director of State Affairs and the company’s office in Red Sea State, presenting a detailed report on mining conditions and an urgent plan aimed at boosting revenues, protecting the environment, and safeguarding workers.

Hatim Al-Bushra Al-Sayyid, Director of State Affairs, praised the team’s efforts, highlighting the visible improvement in revenue collection.

Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Othman Al-Haj, known as “Tita,” Director of the company’s Red Sea State office, commended the technical and development teams for advancing operations and pledged to double efforts to increase production and maximize state revenues.

He said the coming period will see markets connected through digital networks to address liquidity shortages, along with new measures to tackle mining waste. He also praised coordination with state authorities, local communities, and security forces to stabilize operations in Red Sea State.
