New Surge in Foreign Currency Rates

Foreign currency exchange rates against the Sudanese pound recorded an unprecedented jump on Thursday in parallel market trading.
Currency dealers attributed the surge to the entry of new buyers placing large orders for foreign exchange.
According to market sources, the U.S. dollar reached 3,550 pounds, while the Saudi riyal stood at 946.666 pounds, and the Emirati dirham was quoted at 967.302 pounds. The euro traded at 4,176.4705 pounds, the British pound at 4,797.29 pounds, and the Egyptian pound at 73.68202 pounds.
Meanwhile, the Bahraini dinar registered 9,342.105 pounds, the Qatari riyal 975.2747 pounds, the Omani riyal 9,350 pounds, and the Kuwaiti dinar topped the list at 11,451.612 pounds.
