
On Saturday, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected forces in Bara city, North Kordofan State, after it was liberated and cleansed from the “Daglo militia.”
Al-Burhan also visited the frontlines of the armed forces and their supporting units, reviewing combat operations in the Kordofan axis. He praised the sacrifices and bravery of the armed forces and other security bodies in defeating the militia, stressing determination to end the rebellion, eradicate it, and liberate every inch defiled by the militia.
In the same context, Al-Burhan visited El-Obeid city, where he met with military and security leaders and was briefed on the situation in North Kordofan. He also addressed the government and people of El-Obeid, who welcomed him in large crowds chanting, “One army – one people.”
