Chinese Company Announces Resumption of Mineral Exploration in Sudan

Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Director General, Mohamed Tahir Omar, held a meeting at the company’s headquarters with a Chinese delegation led by Sun Jin, Chairman of Nuati Company, attended by senior officials overseeing geological exploration and production firms.
During the meeting, Omar reaffirmed the company’s commitment to fully supporting Nuati as it resumes its activities. He stressed the importance of a clear work program, a defined budget, and a production plan designed to maximize revenues from the concession area, in coordination with relevant technical departments.
He also reiterated the government’s pledge to address all obstacles facing the Chinese company, particularly encroachments on its concession area and field-related challenges.
For his part, Chairman Sun Jin expressed gratitude for the Sudanese government’s support, pledging that his company is determined to overcome past difficulties and resume exploration and production efforts this year, contributing to the growth of the national mining sector.
