Mohamed Al-Amin Tirik, Deputy Head of the Forces of Freedom and Change – Democratic Bloc, stressed that any dialogue must be purely Sudanese-led, with the international community’s role limited to supporting the process toward peace.
Speaking at a workshop on Sudanese–Sudanese dialogue, Tirik called on mediators to respect the Sudanese people, the army, and allied forces.
He added, “If groups linked to external actors cut those ties and issue apologies, there will be room for political consensus.”
