The Dar Hamar Emergency Room reported that the humanitarian and economic situation in An-Nuhud and other areas of West Kordofan State has deteriorated sharply since the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) took control of the city.
In a statement cited by Ultra Sudan, the committee said the areas of Dandana Al-Taawun, Dandana Mufrih, and Dandana Mohamed Maki witnessed incidents of killing, kidnapping, looting of citizens’ property, and the imposition of exorbitant fines.
It added that the total fines imposed exceeded 92 billion Sudanese pounds, describing the situation as a “real economic and humanitarian catastrophe” for local residents.
