Sudan Doctors: 237 Physicians Killed During War

The spokesperson for the Sudan Doctors Network, Mohammed Faisal, revealed that approximately 237 doctors have been killed since the outbreak of the war, including around four doctors in El Fasher, noting that losses in the health sector are estimated at $14 billion.

Faisal told Ultra Sudan that 80% of the healthcare system in El Fasher has been completely destroyed. He added that conditions in Khartoum have improved somewhat, with 34 hospitals and 214 health centers reopened.

He also reported unconfirmed information that the RSF had executed 13 medical personnel at Um Qirfa Hospital in North Kordofan State.
