Sudan Halts South Sudan Oil Exports

The Ministry of Energy announced on Saturday that it has shut down oil facilities — including the transport systems operated by PETCO and BAPCO and two central processing stations — following a terrorist drone attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the Heglig oil field and diesel storage depots.

The attack damaged key diesel storage tanks, causing severe destruction that could disrupt all oil processing and crude transport operations in Heglig and potentially lead to a total shutdown of the field.
