Mohamed El-Shenawy: Our Goal Is to Win the CAF Champions League
Mohamed El-Shenawy, goalkeeper of Egypt’s Al Ahly football team, confirmed that the squad has prepared well for their match against Algeria’s JS Kabylie, which will take place on Saturday in the CAF Champions League.
El-Shenawy said during a press conference on Friday: “We are used to maintaining strong focus, and we understand the importance and value of this match. We are aiming for victory, especially since the team received a morale boost after winning the Super Cup and following the end of the international break.”
He added: “Al Ahly is in a balanced group and is ready to face any team. Whoever wants to win the title must be prepared to face everyone.”
El-Shenawy stressed: “The team is highly focused against a strong opponent with plenty of experience. We approach each match independently. Since returning to group training, every detail has been given attention, and our goal is to win Saturday’s match.”
