Liverpool “Suffers” at Home in Heavy 3-0 Defeat to Nottingham Forest

Liverpool fell at home, in front of their fans, losing 3-0 to Nottingham Forest in the 12th round of the English Premier League on Saturday, marking their sixth defeat in their last seven league matches.

Goals for Nottingham were scored by Muriu, Nicolo Savona, and Morgan Gibbs-White in the 33rd, 46th, and 78th minutes, respectively, at Anfield Stadium.

Liverpool’s points tally remained at 18 following their second consecutive defeat and sixth of the season, dropping the reigning champions to 11th place in the standings.

The heavy loss increased pressure on Dutch coach Arne Sloth ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Eindhoven.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest continued their resurgence under manager Sean Dyche, recording a draw and two wins in their last three rounds, raising their total to 12 points and placing them 16th in the table.
