Liverpool to Miss Key Player Against PSV Eindhoven in Champions League

Liverpool’s playmaker Florian Wirtz will miss the English club’s match against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.
Wirtz did not participate in Liverpool’s training sessions due to a muscle injury sustained while playing for his national team.
Connor Bradley and Jeremy Frimpong are also expected to need two or more weeks to return to full fitness, posing a continuing problem for Dutch manager Arne Slot in defense.
Liverpool has suffered eight defeats and recorded only three wins in their last 11 matches across all competitions, including two victories in the Champions League against Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Madrid.
Currently, Liverpool sits eighth in the Champions League standings, just three points behind German leaders Bayern Munich, who occupy the last spot for direct qualification to the Round of 16.
