Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki received Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamel Idris on Saturday at his residence, during the latter’s official visit to Eritrea.
The meeting reviewed the trajectory of bilateral relations and explored avenues for enhancing, developing, and strengthening cooperation to serve the interests of both nations. Discussions also covered issues of mutual concern affecting regional security and stability.
Both sides emphasized the depth of bilateral relations and expressed commitment to expanding joint cooperation across multiple sectors, including coordination in regional and international forums and matters concerning the Horn of Africa.
