Industrial Output Rises in Bahri Factories

The Director General of the Industry and Trade Ministry in Khartoum State, Amin Hassan Abdel-Bannat, and Bahri Executive Director Abdel-Rahman Ahmed Abdel-Rahman reported a substantial rise in production at factories in Bahri’s industrial zone, reflected in the increased availability of locally produced goods across markets in the state.
The remarks came during an inspection tour of factories to assess production stability, security conditions, and the availability of services. The tour included flour mills, dairy plants, oil producers, meat-processing facilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Amin Hassan said the visit comes as part of the Reconstruction Committee’s plan to restore normalcy and enable the return of residents to Khartoum State, under the leadership of Transitional Sovereignty Council member Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jaber and directives from Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza. He praised factories that have resumed operations and their role in providing essential goods at unified prices, contributing to food and drug security.
For his part, Abdel-Rahman expressed pride in the progress observed compared to their initial post-liberation visit, affirming Bahri locality’s readiness to remove all obstacles hindering the revival of industry and its contribution to the national economy.
