Plans to Add Eight New Oil Wells to Production

The Governor of White Nile State, Lt. Gen. Qamar Al-Din Fadl Al-Moula, met with a delegation from Sudapet to discuss technical and administrative preparations for developing Block 25, as part of efforts to boost national energy production.

Block supervisor Khalid Al-Tijani stated that Sudapet aims to bring eight new wells into production at the Rawat oil field. He explained that the company has developed an ambitious plan to increase crude output and upgrade field infrastructure to support the national economy.

He added that this step aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance the efficiency of oil fields and expand production capacity, strengthening Sudan’s ability to utilize its natural resources and meet local market needs.
