Preparations Underway to Establish a Specialized Council for Training and Human Resource Development

The Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Planning in the Northern State, Eng. Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Faqeiri, affirmed the strong coordination among the various arms of the Ministry of Minerals active in the state, describing them as a genuine support to technical and professional services that enhance performance and improve efficiency. He also praised their contributions to educational and health institutions, as well as their support for displaced communities.
Addressing the closing session of the Advanced Management and Modern Trends in Human Resources course organized at the Geological Research Office in the Northern State, Faqeiri stressed that the Ministry of Minerals places great importance on the state, noting the ministry’s continuous follow-up on the establishment of the Reference Laboratory and its full sponsorship of the project as a strategic step to enhance technical quality.
He revealed the state government’s direction toward expanding training and capacity building, announcing plans to establish a specialized council for training and human resource development, in addition to adopting advanced external training programs for graduates of the course.
Dr. Ahmed Mudawi Ezzeldin, representing the Director General of the Geological Research Authority, conveyed the greetings of Director General Geologist Consultant Ahmed Haroun Al-Toum and of the Director of the General Administration of Financial and Administrative Resources, Issam Al-Din Ahmed Babiker. He stressed the authority’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and providing training programs that keep pace with administrative and technical developments.
He noted that the course served as an important platform for exchanging expertise between the Authority, Urban Planning, and the Sudanese Mining Resources Company.
Similarly, Mudthir Rajab, Director of the Authority’s Office in the Northern State, praised the strong engagement of participants and partner entities, affirming continued cooperation and development of future training programs.
For his part, Engineer Abdelrahman Al-Nazeef, Director of the Sudanese Mining Resources Company in the Northern State, expressed his satisfaction with the fruitful collaboration among the ministry’s entities, stressing the need for advanced external training programs to strengthen the skills of workers in the sector.
