Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei strongly condemned the killing of dozens of unarmed civilians in the Kalogi area of South Kordofan by RSF fighters. He expressed regret over the international community’s silence toward the worsening humanitarian situation and the repeated massacres against innocent civilians in Sudan.
Baghaei urged the international community to expedite the delivery of humanitarian aid to Sudanese refugees and to take serious and effective steps to stop foreign interference in Sudan and prevent the flow of weapons to the rebel forces, whom he described as the primary cause of the country’s prolonged and escalating crisis.
