Mining-security issues and field challenges facing regulatory bodies were also discussed.
The session saw extensive exchanges among state managers and senior administrators, focusing on strengthening oversight, developing joint mechanisms, improving working environments, increasing production, and protecting mineral wealth.
Hatem Al-Bashri stressed that the forum aims to enhance performance and develop state-level operations to achieve national goals in regulating, formalizing, and advancing the mining sector, while maximizing production and revenues.
He pledged continued efforts to strengthen cooperation between the federal center and states and to implement the forum’s recommendations in line with the Ministry of Minerals’ agenda.
