Sudan Customs Records 105% Financial Performance

The Customs Forces Command held its regular meeting on Monday at the meeting hall of the Northern Port Customs Headquarters, chaired by the Director General of the Customs Forces, Lieutenant General of Police Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, with the participation of Assistant Directors General, Directors of General Administrations and Departments, the Legal Advisor, as well as sector and state directors via video conference.
The meeting reviewed the financial performance report for November 2025, which showed an overall performance rate of 105%, while cumulative performance reached 132%.
The meeting also discussed a number of technical issues, including follow-up on the implementation of previous meeting resolutions, evaluation of workflow in the network linkage system for executive offices, review of the work of organizational structure committees, in addition to efforts to evaluate customs tariffs and maximize revenues to enhance customs control at both federal and state levels.
The meeting listened to performance reports from departments and states and discussed other topics related to reconstruction plans for Khartoum State Customs, the linkage system for customs exemptions, World Customs Day, and concluded with discussions on the Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD).
During the meeting, the Director General of the Customs Forces affirmed that the leadership is moving forward in providing all necessary support and requirements to enhance performance quality, achieve job satisfaction, and improve the work environment, in addition to monitoring the implementation of strategic plans, developing anti-smuggling mechanisms, and building smart partnerships with relevant entities to achieve modernization and development goals and confront current challenges.
Lieutenant General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim praised the great efforts exerted by officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers deployed across all states of the country, commending their dedication to duty and calling for continued efforts to elevate performance to the highest levels of institutional excellence.
