On Saturday, Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel’s recognition of the Somaliland region.
A statement from the Ministry’s spokesperson described Israel’s move as a violation of international conventions and a dangerous precedent that undermines regional stability and security. Sudan reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Somali people and full support for the unity and sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia over its internationally recognized borders.
