A Sudanese army source reported that dozens of Rapid Support Forces fighters were killed in drone strikes in South Kordofan.
The military stated, via Al Jazeera, that the Sudanese Armed Forces targeted an RSF gathering south of the town of Bernou using drones, resulting in numerous fatalities and the destruction of combat vehicles. The RSF had been assembling south of Bernou to launch an attack on the army at the “Intersection” station near Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan.
