Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed regional and international developments on Saturday with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
The talks covered the situations in Gaza, Libya, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and Ukraine. Both sides underscored the necessity of resolving related crises through peaceful means, in a manner that preserves the unity and territorial integrity of those states and safeguards the resources and interests of their peoples. They also stressed the need to avoid any military escalation, warning that such actions would have grave repercussions affecting all parties.
