Standards Authority Supports Soybean Production in Sudan
The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) in Al-Jazira State participated in a workshop on soybean production in Sudan, organized by the State Ministry of Agriculture and Economic Resources, with the participation of relevant stakeholders and under the patronage of a representative of the Governor of Al-Jazira State and a number of ministers.
The authority was represented by Engineer Al-Khatim Ibrahim, Director of the Laboratories Department in the Al-Jazira Sector.
The participation underscored the role of the authority in supporting soybean production through the application of standard specifications and strengthening the role of specialized laboratories to ensure quality and enhance production efficiency, contributing to the support of the state’s agricultural economy and reinforcing integrated institutional cooperation.
