Sudan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Cooperation in the Mining Sector

As part of efforts to enhance the strategic partnership between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Hilal Al-Harbi, a representative of the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, received Sudan’s Minister of Minerals, Nour Al-Daem Taha, and his accompanying delegation upon their arrival in the capital, Riyadh, to participate in the International Mining Conference.

The Sudanese delegation, which includes senior officials and experts in the mining sector, is taking part with the aim of boosting investment opportunities and building regional and international partnerships in the minerals industry.

Sudan’s Minister of Minerals affirmed the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries, commending the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leading role in developing the mining sector. He also highlighted the importance of the conference in supporting sustainable transformation and strengthening global supply chains.
