Prime Minister Directs Swift Restoration of Electricity and Banking Services to Libya Market

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has instructed the relevant authorities in the Government of Hope to expedite the restoration of electricity and banking services to Libya Market.

The directive came during his visit to Libya Market on Wednesday, as part of the Government of Hope’s focus on citizens’ livelihoods and the quality of essential services provided to the public.

The Prime Minister received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from citizens during the visit, as crowds gathered spontaneously, chanting slogans such as: “One army, one people,” “Move forward, move forward, Kamil,” “We stand with you, Kamil,” and “No more agents from today.”

Addressing the crowd, the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. He emphasized that citizens’ livelihoods and security, as well as the provision of water, electricity, and sanitation services, are top priorities for the Government of Hope.

Dr. Kamil Idris also called on Sudanese citizens living abroad to return home to observe the holy month of Ramadan in the country, affirming that Libya Market will regain its former prominence and emerge better than before.

Several citizens expressed satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s visit, noting that it left a positive impact and reaffirmed the Government of Hope’s commitment to the welfare of the people.
