The Dar Hamar Emergency Room reported that the Rapid Support Forces militia committed what it described as a “heinous” crime against unarmed civilians on Sunday evening, as they were returning from the market to the Al-Ruwaiyana area in the eastern countryside of Al-Nuhud locality, West Kordofan State.
In a statement, the group said that militia elements riding motorcycles opened live fire on the civilians, killing Al-Sadiq Musa Hamid (34) and seriously wounding two others, identified as Maher and Al-Hadi, who remain in critical condition.
The statement noted that the attack is part of a series of repeated assaults targeting civilians along key routes and transportation corridors, exacerbating tension and fear in the affected areas.
Dar Hamar Emergency Room also accused the RSF of showing blatant disregard for civilian lives, even as residents return to their homes carrying basic food supplies for their children.
