The Dar Hamar Emergency Room on Thursday accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia of killing two civilians in the city of Al-Fula, West Kordofan State.
In a statement, the Dar Hamar Emergency Room said RSF fighters shot and killed Abdelmonem Moussa Issa Al-Shuwain in front of his home in Al-Fula, and Adam Four, the owner of one of the city’s most well-known cafeterias, after storming his house in Al-Aman neighborhood, south of Al-Thawra district, and looting it entirely. The statement warned that Al-Fula has become unsafe for all residents.
The Emergency Room further reported that the city of Al-Khuwai and its 90 surrounding villages in West Kordofan are facing a major humanitarian catastrophe, noting that the city has been completely deserted by its inhabitants and turned into a hub for crime and systematic looting targeting homes and mosques.
It added that the RSF has imposed coercive pricing on agricultural crops, looted livestock, targeted the elderly with violence and arbitrary detention, and seized control of transportation and water sources.
The statement concluded that these actions amount to a systematic attempt at the city’s economic destruction and the erasure of its cultural heritage, warning that the humanitarian crisis will continue to worsen unless urgent intervention takes place.
