Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati held talks with UK Minister of State for International Development and African Affairs Jenny Chapman on developments in Sudan.
According to Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, Abdel Aati briefed the British minister on the latest developments and Egypt’s intensive efforts within the framework of the Quadrilateral Mechanism, stressing the importance of swiftly reaching a humanitarian truce as a step toward a comprehensive ceasefire and the launch of an inclusive political process led and owned by Sudanese stakeholders.
