
Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris, head of Sudan’s delegation to the Munich Security Conference, attended the opening session today, accompanied by Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem. The conference is scheduled to continue until next Sunday.
The opening session featured addresses by the conference chair, the Governor of Bavaria, and the German Chancellor, while the conference agenda covers a range of regional and international challenges.
The Prime Minister is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with several heads of delegations, in addition to addressing a session dedicated to the challenges of war and peace in Sudan.
