On Sunday, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, visited the Abu Daliq area as part of a series of field tours to assess the conditions of citizens.
General al-Burhan praised the steadfastness of the local population and their resistance against the Al-Diglo terrorist militia, emphasizing that the unity and solidarity among Abu Daliq residents had taught the enemy valuable lessons in courage, bravery, and determination.
He highlighted the crucial role of Abu Daliq citizens in supporting the Armed Forces during the “Battle of Dignity,” commending their prompt response to the nation’s call and their active participation in popular resistance to defeat the rebellion and uproot its influence.
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council also toured several service and development projects, reviewing the level of public services provided to the local population in the fields of water, education, and health.
