Prime Minister Phones Qatari Counterpart, Condemns Iranian Attack

The Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, received a phone call from Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris, during which the latter conveyed Sudan’s condemnation of the Iranian missile attack on Qatari territory.

He described the strike as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and airspace of the State of Qatar, as well as of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

According to the agency, the call also addressed the escalation of military tensions in the region and their serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability, in addition to ways of resolving all disputes through peaceful means.
