The Rapid Support Forces militia abducted six girls three days ago from the village of Faqousa, located south of Al-Dilling in South Kordofan State.
Mubarak Ardol, head of the Democratic Alliance, said in a Facebook post that the girls were taken to areas under militia control.
Ardol described the incident as a blatant violation of humanitarian values and international law.
He held the militia leadership fully responsible for the girls’ fate and called for their immediate and unconditional release.
He warned that continued actions of this kind would not go without consequences and would further complicate the situation in the region, serving no party’s interests.
