Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Over the course of two consecutive days, a number of cities in the River Nile State witnessed a bread crisis that brought back queuing again, and many citizens struggled to obtain bread, at a time when bakery owners increased the price of bread, so that the price of three pieces of bread became 200 pounds instead of four pieces for 200 pounds. However, the Minister of Finance of the River Nile, Mahjoub Al-Sir, denied that the state had not approved any increase in the price of a loaf of bread, and stressed that any violation puts the perpetrator subject to the emergency law. Al-Sir added: \u201cDo not be lenient or lax in the citizen\u2019s livelihood, stressing that people\u2019s livelihood is a red line and we will not accept queuing in front of bakery destinations, we are working to impose state prestige and apply strict penalties on crisis merchants.
